We are now looking for two senior physicians with a completed doctoral degree. The positions are placed in an organization characterized by high medical competence, good collaboration, and strong professional commitment.

The Reproductive Medicine Center (RMC) at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) takes care of patients' reproduction at all stages of life. We meet young patients who have hormonal problems with excess or deficiency of androgens, patients who need hormonal assistance after chemotherapy, or treatment for gender dysphoria.

At RMC, we also conduct infertility investigations, assisted reproduction (IVF treatment, insemination treatment, and sperm and egg donation) and work in areas such as gynecology, andrology, and gynecological endocrinology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the senior physician include the activities conducted at RMC, such as interdisciplinary clinics with endocrinological and infertile patients. In your role, you will work depending on your specialist competence with female reproduction involving IVF, investigation/treatment of infertility, and gynecological endocrinology or clinics focusing on reproduction and andrology in men.

In your role as a senior physician, you will have close collaboration with gynecologists, andrologists, and an endocrinologist. We are many engaged colleagues with a broad reproductive medical knowledge and an unpretentious working style.

There are good opportunities to shape your position according to your preferences and for research. Travel in connection with meetings and congresses may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for two senior physicians for the following specialties:

• A senior physician position with specialist competence in occupational and environmental medicine, with documented knowledge and ability to work independently in andrology.
• A senior physician position with specialist competence in obstetrics and gynecology, with documented knowledge and ability to work independently in IVF and embryology.

You who apply are a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. For each position, relevant specialist competence as mentioned above is required. Furthermore, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required.

For the position of senior physician, the following is also required:

• Full-time service as a specialist physician for at least five years (documented effective time)
• Documented clinical skill and independence within the relevant specialist area
• Completed or planned clinical supervisor training
• Documented teaching and supervision merits
• Completed doctoral degree (disputation)
• Disputation and/or specialist examination can be credited for a total of up to six months of clinical service.

As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances. You have a professional demeanor, good patient contact, and a strong commitment to your work. You also have well-developed communication and collaboration skills.

At a university hospital unit, it is required that physicians have pedagogical experience and training. You may have acquired this through supervision of, for example, nursing and medical students as well as physicians in training and as co- or main supervisors of doctoral candidates. Clearly describe in your application any completed or planned pedagogical courses, experience in supervision, and teaching at various levels.
